Understanding hypnotherapy
Before we start to look at if hypnotherapy really works, lets take a moment to clarify a few misconceptions about hypnotherapy.
Firstly Hypnotherapy treatment uses deep relaxation of the body whilst working with the unconscious part of your brain this is what is referred to as the hypnosis part.
We combine this with a talking therapy where you can explore thoughts, feelings and memories which may be hidden from the conscious mind this defines the therapy part.
Whilst you are deeply relaxed the hypnotherapist is able to guide you to access the subconscious where you can let go of false beliefs or create new patterns or behaviours.
Hypnosis / Hypnotherapy is not mind control, you can only make the changes you want to make, you may be in a relaxed state but you will not be fast asleep and you will always be in full control.

| 600 | Psychoanalysis | 38 |
